    Former intelligence officer and Lonely Planet author, Paul is now trying to blend his background into writing as a way to fund his addiction to travel. He has written a trilogy of action-comedy-political-satires (unpublished thus far) called 'Bali & Oates' , 'Vietnamnesia' and 'Malaise' based...in, well, you guessed it.

     

    His latest effort is a comedy-drama TV series called 'Middle-Aged Run-Aways' about an Australian couple in their 50s who run away from home, leave their children and start a new life in Thailand.

    Description:

    One episode of 'Middle-Aged Run-Aways' has been written. I plan to travel to Phuket in March/Apri 2012 to research and write the remaining 7 episodes of this short series. A second series, featuring the same two main characters, plus others, could be based elsewhere in South East Asia, eg Bali or Vietnam.
