The jury system is far from perfefect but its the best we've got. In the "Jury" we attempt to see the inside workings of the Jury and truely begin to see the workings of the peole who are ultimately in charge of our fate.
A selection of the community would be chosen based on their personal views and social opinion ranging from immigrants, religious leaders, idealists, blue collar to white collar, self made money to those born into it.
The idea is to show how individual views will always cloud a judgement but more importantly, how faced with such contrasting beliefs, how malleable a group or individual can be in order to achieve a perceived greater good.
We will be witness to how fragile the jury system as a means of discipline can be and how strong it becomes in times when required.
It is not a show to victimize people or to denounce our system but more to display the enoumous responsibility and pressure and in some respects, the joy that comes from this government ppointed role.
I am looking for a producer to come on board to help with the preparation of documentation and looking for funding.
