David Thompson has rarely been in the spotlight. Solid, dependable, married to his childhood sweetheart, he’s beginning to wonder what might have been as he staggers towards his thirtieth birthday. When David is introduced to internet chat rooms and social networking sites he discovers a place where any fantasy is catered for. It is an exciting new world where he can finally be a star. He quickly becomes addicted and soon physical relationships are usurped by cyber ones. He forms a connection with Desire, a gorgeous free spirit, but David has created an online persona that is as fantastical as the virtual world he now inhabits. Addiction turns to obsession as David seeks Desire out in the real world. As the lines between cyberspace and reality become increasingly blurred, just how far is David prepared to go to make his fantasies come true?

'In Autumn' is a short film drama written by Burak Oguz Saguner and Rosanna Scarcella based on Stefanie Borges' short screenplay 'Gold Fish Bowl.' Rosanna will direct, Burak is the cinematographer and this is our third film collaboration. 'In Autumn' is set and filmed in Melbourne and will commence shooting next month.
